ASE reconfirms, for the third consecutive year, the first place in Romania, according to the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings, 2022 edition
The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Academia de Studii Economice din București – ASE), the leader of economic and public administration education in Romania, is listed for the third time in a row as the best university in Romania, according to the 2022 edition of the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings, published on September 2, this year.
ASE is the first and, for the time being, the only university in Romania listed in the top 600 in the world. The university thus continues its upward trajectory in the academic ranking Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 (THE WUR), a performance that honors its academic community, especially considering the epidemic context in which the activity took place in 2020-2021.
Made by the British magazine Times Higher Education (THE) since 2004, the prestigious ranking focuses on the excellence of research on a global scale, evaluating universities in terms of tracking 13 performance indicators, grouped into four areas: teaching, research, transfer knowledge to the socio-economic environment and the international perspective.
Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 brings together 1662 universities from 99 countries, the ranking being opened by the prestigious University of Oxford, California Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Stanford University and University of Cambridge.
